I have an English degree and it’s been very useful for me. I do well and I freelance from home. It’s nice. An English degree is versatile - don’t let anyone convince you it’s not!
Thanks for the reassurance! I think somewhere between the billionth time someone insisted I’d decide to teach and the time I had to write a paper comparing Our Town and Interview with a Vampire, everything went fuzzy.

Anonymous asked: why are you an English major?
I ask myself this a lot. I’m about to graduate and it’s still a mystery.

Will this be going in your shop, ma’am?
Yep! If you want first dibs, it’s yours.
oh wow, I have this picture frame and I always wondered what to put in it. this is so perfect, I’m jealous.
Ha, thanks. I wish I’d bought more than two when I found them in the Target dollar section. I’d make a thousand (or, like, 7) tiny monster girls.

Also, on an unrelated note: tumblr’s awful posting system they implemented a while back doesn’t like my stolen borrowed Internet connection and only lets me make image posts from my apartment when the planets align, it rains blood, and a two-headed calf is born at midnight (unless it’s an automated thing from instagram or something.) We’re not getting much blood rain around these parts lately, what with climate change and all, so I guess real posts will be even less frequent than they used to be.
